Managing Users

When managing users in your ThankView portal, you may set various permission levels that determine how much access that user has to create and edit content, record videos, pull metrics, etc.

  • Admins have full access. They can create, record, and send campaigns, view and export metrics, and manage users and other settings.
  • Creators can do everything Admins can do, except manage users and other settings.
  • Senders can schedule and send campaigns. They cannot edit campaign settings or content, but they can send tests and approve sends before scheduling.
  • Organizers can add, edit, and organize recipient information. They can view the Contacts and Lists pages, allowing them to upload recipients and create lists.
  • Recorders can record and upload videos directly within a campaign or the Video Library
  • Designers can create envelopes and landing pages, customizing the look and feel of campaigns.
  • Metrics users can view and export metrics.
  • For student call centers or ambassador programs, create your campaigns in advance and give your students Recorder access so that they can create video content.
  • Additionally, allow your call center / ambassador managers Sender or Creator access so that they can approve and send campaigns for you.
  • Allow your data analysts and Advancement Services teams to login as Metrics users so that they can view and export metrics.
  • If you would like to receive videos without adding a user, create a Video Request campaign.
